Eesha Williams talks about his updated Grassroots Journalism: A Practical Manual for Doing the Kind of Newswriting That Doesn’t Just Get People Angry, but Active-That Doesn’t Just Inform, but Inspires. It’s just come out in paperback.
And Nigerian novelist Sefi Atta talks about her debut novel EVERYTHING GOOD WILL COME. It was awarded the inaugural Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa. She’ll be giving a reading at the event, AFRICA ALIVE! AFRICAN HISTORY THOUGH FILM, STORY, AND SONG, April 19, at Westfield State College at 7:00pm.
